US Report claims: Pakistan is modernizing nuclear weapons with the help of China
South Asia Nuclear Threat को लेकर अमेरिका की नई रिपोर्ट में बड़ा खुलासा हुआ है। अमेरिकी रक्षा खुफिया एजेंसी (DIA) द्वारा जारी की गई World Threat Assessment Report 2025 में दावा किया गया है कि Pakistan Nuclear Program को चीन से military और technological support मिल रही है। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, पाकिस्तान भारत को अपना सबसे बड़ा दुश्मन मानते हुए अपनी nuclear capability को तेज़ी से अपग्रेड कर रहा है।
China-Pakistan Defence Nexus पर रिपोर्ट का फोकस
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पाकिस्तान बड़े पैमाने पर Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) बनाने के लिए आवश्यक dual-use technology और nuclear-grade materials को हासिल करने में लगा है। इसके लिए वह चीन के अलावा Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE और Turkey जैसे देशों के रास्ते से उपकरण मंगवा रहा है।
हालांकि, China-Pakistan relations में तनाव की रेखाएं भी उभर रही हैं। हाल के महीनों में पाकिस्तान में Chinese workers पर हुए आतंकी हमलों ने दोनों देशों के बीच रिश्तों को झटका दिया है। बावजूद इसके, चीन पाकिस्तान का सबसे बड़ा military hardware supplier बना हुआ है।
Nuclear Command & Control Systems को भी किया जा रहा है अपग्रेड
रिपोर्ट में यह भी कहा गया है कि पाकिस्तान सिर्फ nuclear warheads ही नहीं, बल्कि अपने Command & Control Systems, security protocols, और delivery mechanisms को भी अपडेट कर रहा है। इसके लिए वह foreign suppliers और middlemen networks का सहारा ले रहा है। इस प्रक्रिया में चीन की भूमिका अहम मानी जा रही है।
India-Pakistan Military Escalation का भी जिक्र
रिपोर्ट में अप्रैल 2025 में Jammu & Kashmir terrorist attack और उसके बाद भारत द्वारा पाकिस्तान के terror launchpads पर missile strikes का उल्लेख किया गया है। इसके बाद 7 से 10 मई तक दोनों देशों के बीच missile, drone और artillery skirmishes हुए, लेकिन अंततः 10 May Ceasefire Agreement के बाद तनाव में कमी आई।
India-China Relations & Indian Ocean Strategy
रिपोर्ट में India-China border conflict और पूर्वी लद्दाख में LAC disengagement efforts का भी जिक्र किया गया है। रिपोर्ट बताती है कि भारत अब अपने Indian Ocean allies के साथ Strategic Defence Partnerships को मजबूत कर रहा है ताकि क्षेत्र में China’s influence को बैलेंस किया जा सके।
